Short version: this website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. Fonts and images come from this server. Content from other providers (shop, videos, music player) only loads after you click it.

2. Hosting and server log files

This site is hosted by united-domains GmbH (Gautinger Straße 10, 82319 Starnberg, Germany). With every visit the web server processes the data your browser sends: IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer, browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis is my legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The log files are deleted automatically by the host after a short period. I have a data processing agreement with the host (Art. 28 GDPR). See also the united-domains privacy policy.

3. Fonts

All fonts are served from this website itself. No connection to Google Fonts or any other font service is made.

4. Settings and games in your browser

If you switch between dark and light mode, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage (key theme). The browser games may save progress or scores in your browser's storage as well. This data never leaves your device and is only stored because you use these functions (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

5. Contact form and email

If you use the contact form or write me an email, your name, email address and message are sent to my inbox so I can answer you. Nothing is stored on this website. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for inquiries about orders, bookings or working together, otherwise my legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). My mailbox is hosted by Proton AG (Route de la Galaise 32, 1228 Plan-les-Ouates, Switzerland; the EU Commission has recognised Switzerland as providing an adequate level of data protection). I delete messages once they are dealt with, unless statutory retention periods require longer storage.

6. Shop (Spreadshirt)

The shop page can show the Spreadshop of Spreadshirt (sprd.net AG, Gießerstraße 27, 04229 Leipzig, Germany). It only loads after you click "Load the shop". Then Spreadshirt's scripts are loaded, your IP address and technical data are sent to Spreadshirt, and Spreadshirt may set cookies, for which it asks your consent in its own banner. Legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG), which you can withdraw at any time for the future, e.g. by deleting Spreadshirt's cookies in your browser. Orders, payment and shipping are handled entirely by Spreadshirt, see the Spreadshirt privacy policy.

7. Videos and music

Videos are embedded from YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), the music player from SoundCloud (SoundCloud Global Limited & Co. KG, Rheinsberger Str. 76/77, 10115 Berlin, Germany). Both only load after you click play; until then nothing is requested from YouTube or SoundCloud, the preview images come from this server. Once you click, your IP address and technical data go to the provider, and Google may transfer data to the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which an adequacy decision of the EU Commission exists (Art. 45 GDPR). Legal basis is your consent by clicking (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG).

8. External links

Links to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Bandcamp, Amazon, GitHub, Spreadshirt and others are plain links. Data is only transferred to these providers once you click them; then their privacy policies apply.

9. Your rights

You have the right to:

• access your data (Art. 15 GDPR),
• rectification (Art. 16 GDPR),
• erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
• withdraw any consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): Where I process data based on my legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), you can object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.

Just write to info@calmyjane.com. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

10. Other

You are not obliged to provide any data; without an email address I just can't answer you. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.
